For the first time, we are offering a free outdoor CineConcert to give the public a chance to discover the power of live music accompaniment! This is the perfect backdrop for a picnic with family or friends

Starting at 5 PM, Place D’Youville will be transformed into a concert hall where the Québec Symphony Orchestra of Film Music will perform under the musical direction of Xavier Boucher. Interpreted together with a program of silent short films screened on the D’Youville Desjardins Screen, the OSMFQ invites you to reflect on the effect music has on motion pictures. For this event, the original soundtrack will give way to a unique composition composed entirely by students of the Conservatoire de musique de Québec and University Laval.
