Jimmy G. Pettigrew graduated from the film and television school of Quebec City in 2006, he immediately co-founded the collective "La boîte insolente", where he produced, wrote, directed capsules for the web. He also founded the collective La vie est belle, which presents exclusive film screenings by filmmakers from Quebec City and elsewhere. He has independently produced and directed short fiction films.
